QUESTIONS ARE THE ROOT OF ALL ANSWERS.

DON’T BE SHY!

You’ll get the best results if you let the hair grow to about ¼ inch so the wax can fully grab the hair. It usually takes an average of two or four weeks from the last time you shaved, to grow hair to be ready to wax.

We recommend exfoliating with an exfoliating glove or exfoliating towel. In the area your getting waxed, prior and several days to your appointment. Thoroughly clean the area keep skin moisturized, but not greasy from lotions or oils.

Waxing makes your skin feel soft and lasts much longer than shaving. When waxed consistently, hair grows back slower, finer and sparser. Shaving cuts your hair, it doesn’t remove your hair it stimulates potential hair growth—so the quantity and thickness remain the same. Laser hair removal don’t work for everyone, which makes waxing a fabulous universal alternative. By removing the hair, you stay cleaner and fresher longer.

We use two different types of wax, both are incredible. For the face, bikini and more sensitive areas of the body, we use a hard wax that shrink wraps and hardens around the hair and lifts from the skin creating a more comfortable experience. We use a traditional soft wax for larger body areas such as legs, arms, chest, and back and it is removed by using a cloth strip.

It differs with each person, depending on how fast the hair grows and in which phase the hair was when waxed. Results should last from two to four weeks, Esthetician will analyze case by case. The  beauty of waxing is knowing you’ll be hair-free for a minimum of 2-4 weeks following your wax appointment. The more you wax, the longer the results last.

Your hair won’t grow back thicker and darker after waxing, just the opposite! Hair that is removed at the root grows back softer and finer over time.

There is not a waxing age limit or waxing age requirement. However, if you’re under the age of 18, bring a parent or guardian on your first visit as we need their consent.

We prefer you wait until after you cycle however in case of an emergency. We can absolutely wax you if it’s that time of the month. But do keep in mind that the area will be more prone to sensitivity and you may experience more discomfort than usual. In order to successfully complete the service, you will need to wear a clean tampon.

Bikini line is a basic tidy. We wax the sides (called your panty line) and across the top. If you’re wearing a bikini, this will prevent any hairs from “peeking out.”

Modified Bikini Hair is removed inside the panty line to create a thin strip from front to back no hair removed from labia.

Full Brazilian goes from the front all the way to the back with inner backside. This is perfect for a completely nude look or you can leave a neat triangle on the front. Choose your style!

This is nearly impossible to answer! Everyone has a different scale for pain tolerance and what is painful for someone may not bother someone else. However, with our wax and our express technique we offer you the most comfortable service possible. If you’re still worried about managing sensitivity, we recommend taking an ibuprofen or aspirin roughly 30 minutes before your appointment to help maximize your comfort. Pro-tip: Exfoliating several days prior to service helps. Also waxing more frequently will help with sensitivy as hair grows back finer and sparser!

In order to provide the best experience possible, only the client and waxer™ are allowed in the treatment room during an appointment. For clients under the age of 15, we invite a parent or guardian to be on hand (optional).

These medications increase the rate at which your skin exfoliates so waxing could potentially remove skin as well as hair. Please let your wax™ technician know immediately if you are on any medications. Also be aware that chemical peels, laser, and micro-dermabrasion can also affect skin integrity.

There are many medications that affect skin and skin integrity (glycolic acid, lactic acid, benzyl peroxide, salicylic acid, alpha hydroxyl acid, vitamin A, prescribed exfoliating scrubs, antibiotics, hormonal medications, radiation and/or chemotherapy drugs). Please consult with your physician in regards to any medications and how it may affect your waxing experience. Some brand names to be aware of: Adapalene, Avita, Tazorac Avage, Proactiv(e), Differin, Strivectin.

We do our best to offer a walk-in wax appointment! However, we may not always be able to accommodate walk-ins, so booking your wax ahead of time is the best way to ensure you’ll get the service you want when you need it.
